Helpful Holiday Tips for Parents

"The holidays are here and for many it is a joyful, fun, and exciting time. For some, however, gift giving, the obligation of family gatherings, increased traffic due to holiday shopping, and other day-to-day holiday events may trigger stress or even anxiety. Please find attached resources that you may find useful." — Dhyana Edwards, LPUMS counselor

Change of Model of Learning Sent Out

FACE_TO_FACE_MODEL_OF_LEARNING_REQUEST SECOND SEMESTER FILLABLE.pdf

Parents/guardians may print this form or have their child check their student email for the form.

11-15-21: Parents of online students wishing to switch their child to Face-to-Face Model of Learning (MOL) in Second Semester now have the chance. All online students were sent the forms through their student email. Deadline to submit the form is Friday, Nov. 19, 2021.

If a parent and their child decides to remain online, they do not need to complete the form. Those who decide to switch, they must be aware that a student's team and electives may change. Space is limited so requests should be signed by parents/guardians and submitted to the school as soon as possible. Face-to-face will be effective Jan. 11, 2022.

Parents/guardians may submit the forms online through wildcatsinfo@gdoe.net or in person at the school campus.

District Testing for All Students

Our students will be administered the AIMSweb Fall Testing in Reading and Math next week Nov. 15- 19. Since our Face-To-Face students will be tested, our Online students will also need to test at the school. Online students are to come to school on their specified period and Cohort Day with a parent. Read Mrs. Guerrero's letter here.

Reminders: Online students taking the AIMSweb test on campus must wear their school uniform. Depending on when they are on campus, they can bring their meals (breakfast or lunch) or snacks, but they must eat in the cafeteria. They are also allowed to eat the Sodexo breakfast and/or lunch served in the cafeteria.

Attendance Procedure

Parents: If your child is absent for any reason, please provide an excuse note. Click here for more information on the student attendance procedure.

Health Requirements for Student Enrollment
