Wildcat Flag

8-21-23: There is a new flag flying all over our school campus this school year. And on August 21, the student designer of the flag had the opportunity to raise the new school flag on our flag pole. The wildcat flag evolved from a contest at the end of last school year.

"The Luis P. Untalan Parent Teacher Organization President Joe Cruz suggested a school flag to fly on the flag pole at the front of the school and wave at school games and functions," said Madrid Borja, the PTO Teacher Representative. "A flag design contest was opened up to the students enrolled in SY 2022-2023. 6th grader Cayleigh Bermudes' design was voted as the winner by the PTO officers and LPUMS administration. Former Wildcat, John Bermudes, donated his talent as a graphic artist to digitize Cayleigh's entry." 

The flag was printed over the summer by the PTO.
